Whilst diabetes, cardiovascular and metabolic conditions such as hypertension are also associated with a high BMI with or without an eating disorder, data were corrected for BMI in a later study [18] where similar findings to Udo and Grilo were found; similar findings have also been reported in two studies of children of associations between metabolic syndrome and binge-eating status [110, 111]
